Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps on Android in the UK for Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top five dining and restaurant apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive overview of their activity.

McDonald’s UK saw a fluctuating download pattern with a peak of about 43K downloads in the last week of March. Downloads dipped to around 21K in early June but rebounded to approximately 35K by the end of the quarter. Active users started strong at around 326K in late March, peaking at roughly 380K in mid-April, before gradually declining to about 303K by the end of June.

Wetherspoon experienced consistent download numbers, with a noticeable peak at 19.6K in mid-April. Active users showed a slight increase from around 83K at the end of March to about 80K towards the end of June, with some fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Costa Coffee Club displayed an upward trend in downloads, starting at around 9.7K in late March and reaching approximately 17.5K by the end of June. Active users also increased steadily from around 117K to approximately 131K over the same period.

The Burger King App: Food & Drink showed varied download numbers, with a notable spike to about 29.6K in mid-May. Active users saw a significant increase from around 51K at the end of March to about 97K in mid-May, before settling at around 65K by the end of June.

Lastly, Domino's Pizza Delivery maintained a steady download rate, starting at around 7.5K and peaking at about 15K in early June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 85K to 95K mark throughout the quarter.
